April 22 Community Bulletin
April 22 South Shore Community Bulletin
Good afternoon, South Shore. Happy Earth Day, and for those who observe it, Happy Passover.
Last Friday was full and exciting on campus, with the kick off of our collaborative PTSA Spring Fundraiser, Move-a-thon, an assembly and reception to mark the naming of the Mary T. Henry Library after our very first school librarian, and a family engagement event recognizing Eid.
We’ve had a strong start back to school today, and want to run through a few updates, even though the typical timing for our Community Bulletin has passed.
South Shore PTSA Swim Lessons are full
Thank you to families who signed up over the weekend. Please watch for updates and information about whether or not your child has a spot to participate. Those notified by PTSA will begin swim lessons this Thursday afterschool.

Families are encourage to both move with their kids and to sponsor, students by donating to the South Easter Seattle Fundraising Alliance and reaching out in their communities for support. Each student also received a pedometer to share their movement distance so we can keep track of how far we have all traveled collectively. Learn more about move-a-thon.
