Dear South Shore Parents and Community,
I have thoroughly enjoyed my first week at South Shore as the new Principal. It has been wonderful seeing all the smiling faces of our great students and experiencing the vibrant energy of our school community. We look forward to seeing the rest of our students on Monday with the start of PreK and kindergarten.
We are excited to remind you that 8th Grade Camp is scheduled for October 7th-9th. To ensure your child’s participation, please submit your permission slips as soon as possible.
Additionally, we are still in need of volunteers to help make this trip a success. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Mr. Booker for more details.
For students wishing to participate in middle school sports, please remember to obtain a sport physical and submit the documentation to the front office at your earliest convenience.
A message from the nurse: If your child requires medication, please ensure that it is brought in and properly labeled to the nurse. See information about when to keep student home from school. Keep Me Home If
As a reminder, school starts at 8:55 AM, and doors open at 8:35 AM. We emphasize the importance of arriving on time to ensure your child benefits fully from the instructional time and starts the day prepared and ready to learn.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
