Mr. Horner, along with some helpers worked hard to get art kits for every PreK – 5th grade student. Also, all Middle School students who are in ART CLASS this semester need to come pick up an art kit.

Please come by South Shore this week between 9am – 3pm to pick up your child’s art kit.

Please share this with any families looking for a school. Click here to watch the South Shore School Tour Video  You can also to the PTSA Blog  to watch videos of other teachers and staff.

Join us this Friday between 12 – 4pm to check out or return books to the library.

SPS’s Prevention and Intervention Department is working to enhance student learning and well-being through the delivery of comprehensive prevention programming, with a focus on reducing substance abuse and other risky behaviors.

This week, we are conducting paid virtual focus groups with parents/guardians to learn more about safe home environments and strategies to limit youth access to substances (such as alcohol, vapes, medication, marijuana). Locking up substances in our homes is important especially now when kids are spending so much time at home and the growing concerns about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on substance use, mental health, suicidal ideation, and suicide attempts, etc….
